3D CAD Model Question: I am currently performing some research. I am looking to develop a 3D cad model (either dxf or igis) from a flat 2d picture. The models should comprise of as much detail as possible. I am reasonably unfamiliar with cad and would greatly appreciate any suggestions of programs or methods. Answer: Sounds interesting but firstly a few questions. What market and end users are you aiming for? Mechanical Engineers , Product Industrail Designers, Architects , Medical , Advertising , Movies .... What sort of pictures are you talking about? Photographs or Pencil sketchs. Isometric Views or standard front side top .
