Applying this Service Pack to an AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Network Administrative Image The following two methods of distributing AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Service Pack 2 apply only to administrative images created with the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Network Installation wizard. After you complete these procedures, any new deployments of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 will have the service pack applied to them automatically. Warning : You cannot modify a deployment that already includes AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Service Pack 1. Attempting to include AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Service Pack 2 in a deployment that already has AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 SP1 merged to it will create and install an unstable version of AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008. You must create a new deployment for AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008 Service Pack 2. NOTE: In both of the following procedures, the service pack file that you download contains an MSP (Microsoft Patch) file. You must extract that file from the executable file. To extract the MSP file from the executable, use the /e ("extract") switch. The avoCADo community is beginning to grow as more people show their interest and support for an open source alternative to commercial CAD software. If you are interested in helping out, take a look at the Get Involved page of the avoCADo Wiki. - whollyguacamole @ 2:04pm EST, May. 01, 2007 Mar 25 2007 avoCADo 07.03 preAlpha released! avoCADo, the new open source 3D CAD program for engineers and artists alike, is now available for download. Following the philosophy of "release early, release often" I have decided to go ahead and release avoCADo, even though its functionality is currently very limited. However, I do feel that the application gives a good sense for what could be to come if the community is excited about a new direction in open source 3D CAD. Please feel free to download avoCADo and give it a try. The program is just getting started so input from users and interested developers would be greatly appreciated! If open source CAD excites you and you would like to see avoCADo grow, consider becoming an active member of the community by posting to the forums, contributing to the wiki (now up and running!) , and submitting feature requests and/or bug reports.
